1. Getting Central Athens Hotel - From International Athens Airport
El. Venizelos International Airport - Athens is about 35 km from the city center. All means of transportation are located at the Arrival Level, with the exception of the train/metro, whose entrance is at the Departures Level opposite entrances 1 and 2.

The airport is accessible by taxi on a 24-hour basis. Passengers leaving the airport, make use of the taxi queue next to Door 3 of the Arrivals Level.

Six public bus routes serve exclusively the airport, connecting the greater area of Athens and Piraeuswith the airport.

Use for only ONE trip to or from theairport.
Where to buy : From the bus driver, all metro stations and public transport ticket outlets.
The penalty for not having a validated ticket is €50.00
All Express Buses disembark their passengers at the Departures Level and they depart from the designated area located at the inner curbside of the Arrivals Level, right outside the Intra Schengen area, between Doors 4-5.
Operating hours 24hour basis.
Itineraries: every 20’ (ex. 10:00, 10:20, 10:40, 11:00 etc).
d. By Car
Starting from airport arrivals section follow the sign to Athens by taking the left direction that passes in front of IKEA store and SHELL gas station.
Then keep on driving on the right side of the road following the signs to ELEFSINA ATHINA.
After 9.20 Km you pass the toll fee and after 13Km the EKO gas station.
On the 15 Km you see the sign IMMITOS RING that guides to take the right direction.
After 10 Km you see the sign ATHENS CENTER exit Y1 that leads you to the right side of road and at the 7th traffic light you make left.
This is Mesogeion avenue.
Drive straight ahead and after passing three traffic lights the avenue will become one way road with three lanes. Stay on the middle.
After three traffic lights and a small uphill, you have to make left and you are at Vasilisis Sofias avenue.
Keep on driving straight ahead and pass totally six traffic lights before you make right towards the center of Athens.
Then keep driving on the left side and after approx 1.4 km you will face Grand Bretagne hotel and on the left side you will have the parliament.
You have to drive across staying on the left side of the road so to have Grand Bretagne hotel on the right and Syntagma square on your left.
At the traffic light you make left and after passing the next one which is only for the pedestrians you make right on Mitropoleos street.
At the second street you make left (Voulis str) and immediately at the next one right.
This is Apollonos str. where the hotel is located, at number 21.
2. Getting Central Athens Hotel - From Pireaus Ports.
Athens' main port of Piraeus serves as the starting and ending point for the main ship routes to the majority of islands around Greece. Located 10km from the hotel, Piraeus is an approximate 30-minute drive from the hotel. Please be advised that in the summer months, traffic may be particularly heavy on Fridays and Sundays, leading to possible travel delays.

b. By Train
Guests also have the option of using the excellent public transportation system (Metro) from the Port of Piraeus to the center of Athens. Please take Metro Line 1 (Green line) to Monastiraki Station. Passengers should disembark the train at the Monastiraki Station.The hotel is located 500 meters from train station. The travel time is approximately 20 minutes. Ticket Cost: 1.40€ per person
