1. Getting Central Athens Hotel - From International Athens Airport
El. Venizelos International Airport - Athens is about 30 km from the city center.
All means of transportation are located at the Arrival Level, with the exception of the train/metro, whose entrance is at the Departures Level opposite entrances 1 and 2.

a. By Taxi
The airport is accessible by taxi on a 24-hour basis. Passengers leaving the airport, make use of the taxi queue next to Door 3 of the Arrivals Level.

Cost: 35.00 Euro from the airport to Central Athens Hotel. (Morning rates)
Cost: 50.00 Euro from the airport to Central Athens Hotel. (Night rates 00:00-05:00)

Duration: approx. 30' it depends on the traffic.

Receipt: According to the Greek Legislation, taxi drivers should provide upon request a receipt for the amount paid for transportation services. The receipt should also indicate the taxi registration number and the driver's name.

b. By Metro
The Airport is accessible via Metro Blue Line 3.

The journey time from Athens International Airport to Syntagma is 30 minutes.

Six public bus routes serve exclusively the airport, connecting the greater area of Athens and Piraeus with the airport.

Ticket price: 5 Euro

Use for only ONE trip to or from the airport.

Where to buy: From the bus driver, all metro stations and public transport ticket outlets.

The penalty for not having a validated ticket is 60 times the price of the ticket.

All Express Buses disembark their passengers at the Departures Level and they depart from the designated area located at the inner curbside of the Arrivals Level, right outside the Intra Schengen area, between Doors 4-5.

Itineraries: every 20' (ex. 10:00, 10:20, 10:40, 11:00 etc).

2. Getting Central Athens Hotel - From Pireaus Port
Athens' main port of Piraeus serves as the starting and ending point for the main ship routes to the majority of islands around Greece. Located 10km away, Piraeus is an approximate 30-minute drive from the hotel. Please be advised that in the summer months, traffic may be particularly heavy on Fridays and Sundays, leading to possible travel delays.

a. Taxis
Taxis are easily found just outside the port. Cost: 15-20€

b. Train
Guests also have the option of using the excellent public transportation system (Metro) from the Port of Piraeus to the center of Athens. Please take Metro Line 1 (Green line) to Monastiraki Station. Passengers should disembark the train at the Monastiraki Station.The hotel is located 500 meters from train station. The travel time is approximately 20 minutes. Ticket Cost: 1,4 € per person.
